Many prospective Hispanic business owners in Baltimore often find themselves in troubled waters when trying to open a new business. In addition to dealing with less-than-trustworthy contractors, accountants and lawyers, the process itself –the paperwork, permits, learning about regulations—is almost impossible to navigate. Even after they manage to get the business up and running, they may not have the knowledge or access to information or resources that may prove critical to their businesses.
